Body Voice is a wearable instrument driven by technology that allows dancers to create music through their dance moves. Music and dance are two art forms, but dance often follows the rhythm of the music. The dancer's creation is based on others, musicians' work. This design subverts the conventional relationship between music and dance, redefines the possibility of free creations by analyzing dance's movement by converting it into music.

The built-in battery drives the physical hands and the screen, and its pre-stored power can run the gearbox for 100 days even if the screen's power is off. Floating touch technology allows users to wake up and interact with the screen by touching and swiping on the glass surface. With the built-in software, the physical hands can automatically adjust the time.

The lower module holds laser's control computer, and upper module holds laser device. Device has led interior lightening, anti vibration legs and powerful ventilation system. Front door goes up and slides down automatically by pressing a button in order to save place. Side covers are stiff but lightweight and removable in order to easily serve the device. Design is friendly for additional laser modifications.

Thanks to its installable wheels is easily relocatable. It allows to adjust the workspace effectively according to current needs even in a small workshop or a garage. Although, the design is focused on simplicity and easy maintenance, the machine is suitable to shape a workpiece with diameter in a range of 0-35 mm and at the same time the force is also adjustable.
Continue readingYinyun is an art installation composed of 85 unique 3D printed ceramic units, located in Taipower D/S ONE exhibition hall in Taipei, Taiwan. Through generative design algorithm, the electric data was extracted and visualized on every unit, together creating a gradient effect. Ceramic 3D printing, with a mixture of recycled material, was then used to fabricate these units, at the same time, creating detailed surface relief which was indicated by this technique. None of the units is the same as others.
